A Thirsting Land

This issue of Plateau Magazine from the Museum of Northern Arizona discusses water on the Colorado Plateau. “A Thirsting Land” is a look at the physical nature of water in the region, from climate and the hydrologic cycle to the types of water that exist in this unique part of the continent.

The issue also contains articles by Pam Hyde, Craig Childs and Larry Stevens on the history of water use, impressions of water and the delicate balance of water and biodiversity in the region, as well as incredible photographs and poetry from Native American poets.
